This song was written in response to a conversation my wife and I had following a night in which I had joined some friends for a night out on the town, (It is rare for either one of us to have a night out on the town). Things that would not have bothered me 10 years ago bothered me that night. She told me that I was just getting older, which is definitely true. Yet, I remember telling her that its more than me being older. God has changed me. It seems that the closer I get to God, the better I am able to love her, our children, other family members and friends, and myself.
